Yavuz Ağıralioğlu: “Mesele yalnızca yol yapmak değil, o yolda refah içinde gidebilen bir millet inşa etmektir”

In Ankara, Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, the president of the Anahtar Parti, posted a statement on his social media account. He acknowledged the construction of roads, bridges, airports, and hospitals yet questioned whether these projects have translated into increased prosperity for the public.

Ağıralioğlu said, “Yol yaptınız, güzel. Köprü yaptınız, güzel. Havalimanı yaptınız, güzel. Hastaneler yaptınız, güzel. Ama halk o yola çıkaracak arabayı alamıyor. Arabası olan benzine yetişemiyor. Köprüden geçerken ücretini hesaplıyor. Uçağa binmek aile bütçesinin meselesi oluyor. Hastane var, halk muayene sırası bulamıyor.” He added that the real challenge is building a society that can travel in prosperity on those roads.

He concluded that after 25 years, roads, bridges, and cities have expanded, but “why hasn’t the public’s prosperity grown?” The statement reflects the party’s concern that infrastructure investments must bring tangible economic benefits to the people.
